Unable to delete song files
I recently purchased the refurbished Zune 80 gig from Walmart for my old time radio programs. No music, just otr. 64 gig worth. 77 shows and thousands of episodes. Because of the nature of the content I'd like to delete a show every time after listening and was wondering the easiest way.
Besides that, I'm unable to delete even my first.
After everything synced onto the zune hard drive I looked and it was a mess. Many episodes were with the correct show and many were lumped in a few "unknown" areas and some were just showing up as singles. I's beyond me why MS made things so difficult instead of just treating the zune like an external hard drive.
So I did a search and found someone made a simple program to sort them by folder as playlists. Thank you, whoever you are, it worked great.
Listened to an episode and then went to delete it. Tried everything. Searched and came across instructions, even numbered, on how to delete.
Bottom line is I deleted the show from the master list under device/music and from the playlist and from the files on my pc. And then I synced a few times including the wireless setup.
The episode is gone except from my zune. There it remains. If anybody can please give me instructions on how I can delete it from there I would greatly appreciate it.
