As you may know, SkyDrive recently got a major overhauling, from little things like increasing the file size limit, to big ones like the brand-new desktop clients. If you happen to have been using the SkyDrive desktop client you may have noticed the update (currently version 16.4.4111.0525), but there are also some updates service-wide as well.
As expected, general bug fixes are out, but the biggest service-wide change you'll probably notice is that you can now have
ten million files stored. Now, even with paid plans this will be quite a challenge to fill, but I'm sure some people will find a way. The previous limit was 150,000. You should also expect file updates to reach all your devices faster, which is definitely great. If you happen to have Windows 8, you'll also notice that the default Photo app will now interface with your SkyDrive to pull images from any of your devices. That's it for the changes, enjoy!
