Default Pc strategy game suggestions?
I Am looking to get a strategy game for my pc, but i want something good.
I would like the game to have that sim city aspect, were i can build my city and civilization, create an income, and manage the city, yet still have that military aspect that if i get attacked by another country, i can build myself a military and fight back, or vise versa go on the attack and conquer lands for myself. but i dont want it to be like rise of nations or age of empires, were at the end of every battle, then i start a new one, i have to start from scratch. I want it to be so, that after a battle, i can still use the forces that i have left, and reinforce if need be.
I have been searching for such a game and have been unsuccessful. Perhaps you guys can help and throw me a few title suggestions.

You have just described Sid Meier's Civilization to the 't'. Civ 5 is a good one, but I almost liked 4 better.

so ive checked out civ. and what i dont like is that its turn based, and you dont really build your cities or your units. you units is just three men running around. i was thinking more of actually building an army and undergoing actual battles were i control my many units.

Well sorry to inform you but there is no such game with city building and RTS combat in it.
