Question about the HD Dock

Hello, i have a HD dock coming I scored on the [H]ard forum for $30 shipped! Sweet!

I have some questions about the remote. Does it work when not using TV OUT? I mainly just want to be able to hit next track, volume, and maybe even stop music from my bed. The Dock will be hooked up via optical to a pair of Behringer MS40's. I could use the analog out is optical is going to cause grief, the Zune dac is very good as well.

The output. Is the analog out on the HD dock a line level or is it just a extension of the stereo jack on the ZHD itself? Full volume despite the volume level on the ZHD? Like the Premium car packs analog output.

I know the Logitech harmony's work with them, but has anyone got a cheaper generic uni remote to work? No a big issue... just wondering.

yes it does, i have my dock connected to speakers and i use the remote for volume, skipping tracks, pausing etc. U cant go to video or click a specific song with the remote, but it still works great. just make sure u go on ur zune and hit setting > Display > TV Output > Off. Then put it on ur dock, sometimes u may need to restart ur zune to get it working.

One time deal. Bought it on [H]ard forum. Try posting a WTB these at your forum of choice, you would be surprised how many people never think of selling something they have laying around until they see someone actually wants to buy it.

I find I generally get items much cheaper than way. (than etailers or ebay) Hell, often times I search for WTB, and see what people want, I might have something they need that im too lazy to deal with selling.
