Zune Error when Updating to 4.8

Hey guys, please help me out here. Going nuts.

Zune would not let me sign in unless i did this dumb update to 4.8. When i try to update to 4.8 it says this Error code: 0x80070656.

So anyway i kept trying, kept coming up. So i decided to take some advice and uninstall Zune completley and redownload it from the site. Yeah, not a good idea. Same Error code continues to pop up and now i lost all my stuff and have no software to sync my Zune to haha. This blows...

Any help on how i can fix this? I hate updates...should of never deleted it and just left it alone. I wanted to sign in so i could buy Zune Pass for my New Years party.

Does Zune have a support team or anything that i can call or email to help me with this? Thanks for any help.

It's not possible, i deleted the software completley. Uninstalled it by the control panel.

Anyway i can get 4.7 or an ealier version? Clearly my computer can't handle the new update. Why the hell they update it to a point where Vista can no longer handle it?

Seems like i am not the only one with this problem...

Microsoft won't even respond...

You also said you reinstalled it... so if you have not, then reinstall it, and use the link I gave you to try the fix. And Vista can certainly handle zune software...
