My zHD has suddenly ceased responding...
My Zune HD hardware has out of nowhere decided to end all operation. It was working fine as of this morning, when I synced up files to its library. As a matter of fact, I became aware of the issue when I went to unplug the sync cable from my comp; it was behaving as if the battery was dead, despite the fact that I'm certain its fully charged as its been plugged in to my system for hours. Now it won't respond regardless of what I do, the "device" tab won't even appear in the Zune software when its plugged in. Interestingly though, the device connected "chime" still plays when I plug and unplug it from the system, which seems to imply that its being recognized at some level as an external hardware, but I don't know.
Anyone have any ideas? I literally am at a loss, it hasn't exhibited any warning signs, and was to my knowledge fully functional as of this morning...
