Default All my files disappeared, but are still there?

Earlier today whilst using my Zune, I looked and saw the screen had gone black, music was still playing, but I could see nothing (yes, I pushed buttons). I restarted it, only to find that it had lost all of the music I had on there. I have not synced it for a couple weeks, and have been using it daily with no problems. When I start the Zune and go to Music, it simply says "No Files"

The odd thing is that I copied a picture over to use as a background, and the background is still showing as my picture, yet when I look under Pictures, there is also nothing listed.

I started to sync it using my laptop a short while ago, but stopped it after a few songs as it was taking too long (syncing wirelessly, my USB cord is in another location). So, then I figured I would take a look on the Zune to see what the storage was showing, its a 120GB Zune, and is showing 22GB used. Which I can only assume is all my music. I checked on my PC, and on there I have 26GB of music files (which is about right, since I have copied several additional CD's, but not yet synced them with the Zune). All of the music is either CD's that I own and have copied to my laptop, or MP3's purchased through Amazon and copied to the Zune.

So, since it appears the music is still on my Zune, how do I get it to show up again? I know I can simply format and re-sync, but am wondering if there is a way to recover what is on there already, or if anyone knows why it did what it did. I have restarted it a bunch of times, software version is 3.30.

Thanks.

It sounds like you had a disk crash, and lost your file directory. Your stuff is there, but zune has no idea where any files start or end...
Reformat and resync... that's all you can do. It will succeed (indicating a random event) or fail (indicating a disk hardware failure...) Good luck!
