Initial upload of code and also some initial build edits completed. No new functionality as of yet, but I have a deployment how-to on the wiki there as well.

Once there's a new version of this, we will probably make a new thread for it (so we can edit the first post ).

GBA with VBZ could be a little dicey, as I remember VBA-GX (for the Wii) required several platform-specific optimizations in order to run GBA games smoothly. We'll see as we go along. First, we'll be focusing on GB/GBC functionality (sound, filelist loading, etc).

By the way, this current version does in fact have a game selector. Just put the multiple archives/pngs in there to load it. And, the only current way to delete a game is to delete the app and redeploy it with different games. Eventually we will also implement deletion of games in-application.

So are you planning on starting work on the VBZ immediately or do you need more team members? Also, check out the pledge money to the VBZ thread in development discussions, it's pitiful as of now but I'm hoping it'll catch on. It is a thread where posters promise to donate money to anyone who will complete the emulator.

Please, people, if you really want the emulator finished like me, go to the thread and pledge some money!

We would LOVE to have more team members that can provide useful insight and code, but as for the foreseeable future looks like we will be pushing small updates to the code whenever we get a chance to look into code or figure out something new. This endeavor would probably go about 30x faster if we had someone willing to test for us on their HD, as I don't currently have one, and Malkierian has been doing all the testing by himself thus far.

Please PM me if you have an HD and would like to test.

im pretty sure if you would like to post it up on here or make a new thread about it for beta Tester we would all like to help out well those that have a ZuneHD and while you post it we can tell you what bugs it have or anything about it.. kinda like how all the games that get posted up on here go through phases we all test it out to see if ne bugs or if ne thing is wrong with them and we let them know by doing this process we make it better and better each update..

I would love to be a beta tester. I've already sent you a pm.

As for team members, you should ask Yamagushi, he was working on the emulator a while after Backatit left and he seemed to have gotten somewhere with sound.

I installed this onto my Zune HD with ease! It's great. I have Pokemon gold, Pokemon yellow, and Mario Deluxe. I hope someone makes a GameBoy Advance Emulator some time soon so I can play the Mega Man Battle Network Series on my Zune HD.
Anyways thank you BackAtIt.

How can I get the rom OFF of the zune, so I can save the file as a backup or put the rom onto another device's emulator?

First off: The ROM isn't where the data is saved. The .SAV file is where that is.
Second: You don't get it off. Sorry.

You can get them off via FTP in Liberate.
