Exclamation Computer Freezes...

I'm running on a 64 bit Windows 7 computer. I've have my zune for about 2 years now and I have never had a problem with the software before, but now every time I open the zune software, a minute or so later my whole computer will freeze. I am still able to move my mouse but I cannot click on anything. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it and have put my display settings on minimum but neither have helped the problem. What should I do?

Hmmm... there is some sort of software conflict...but where? I'd uninstall the software and leave it off for a bit. Reboot after the uninstall, and see what happens for a few days. Maybe you can find the culprit.

Maybe try re-installing with an older version of the zune software.

Alright I uninstalled zune and I'll leave it off for a few days I guess. Not really sure how that's going to help me find whats wrong though... My computer never freezes with any other program and I haven't installed anything new since the last time I was able to use my software without it freezing.
And I don't think buying a new computer is in the budget... haha

You should be looking for something that doesn't work right. My theory was that something you added or upgraded inserted a shared dll or similar that screwed up zune. And finding that can be very hard unless you get lucky. The other option is reinstalling windows and all your other apps until you either figure out you fixed zune, or you find the one causing a problem...
