I had to reset my zune, now you can count me out for installing 3rd party apps! I'm going to stick with the ones at the marketplace. I mean don't you think this is the reason these apps aren't at the marketplace?!?!?!?

It needs a reset because of the DRM...

Also, an emulator will never be in the marketplace.
There are quite a number of 3rd party apps that have made it in the marketplace.
Nothing is wrong with these apps, its Microsoft's fault that this happens.

You just need to restart your Zune every time you use an OpenZDK app that doesn't restart. That is why all XNA apps restart automatically.

.smc is for SNES, not NES, so no...

So the file deployer says it wont install when I deploy to my Zune HD. I've tried to re deploy it or move it but it doesn't seem to work without it... Help please?

Make sure you have nothing going on in your zune (it's not locked, running an app etc).

Next, make sure you have all the necassary software you need. You can get a list somewhere.

If you have Visual Studio 2010 C# installed or XNA 4.0 you may need to unistall them to be able to sync ZDK apps.

I know I can't sync ZDK apps with XNA 4 installed.

If XNA apps still work normally than your problem is XNA related. Otherwise try restarting your zune and unlocking it (enter a pin if you have one).
