I will most likely buy neither, but if I do, I'd go for the Wi-Fi only Vita.
It's just superior hardware and it doesn't cost hundreds more. I have never cared for 3D, and that's really what's making the 3DS cost what the more feature rich Vita does.

since 2009 no one has been able to hack the PSP firmware. well unless you count that crappy homebrew hack for 6.20 fw. but i guess anything is possible for the Vita.

Oh, I did. I was just as disappointed a they were. This is why I'm getting the WiFi version.
