possibility of an custom eq app

I made a post on abi about this, but wan't to share it to see if it is possible.

"But when it comes to eq, it is more likely possible for somebody to make an eq app. If we could make an album shuffle, and e-reader app, with audiosurf, wlm then we are bound to make a eq app since there are third party eq apps for android, ios, etc. Its just that is anybody willing to make one for the zune. Who knows maybe the next batch might have eq or some guy on zuneboards would develop this in openzdk or xna."

saying this since it seems to be easier to have an app than an update

I'd rather wait for it to be included in the firmware.

How would you save the settings permanently instead of running it again every startup?

i would be happy as long as it has bass boost even if it is every restart as for firmware maybe but i think its a long shoot .
