All this needs is a bigger D-pad and it's a very fun and addicting games.
Also, I'm not sure if you need to move in diagonal directions. I would prefer if you couldn't, but that's mostly because I keep pressing it when I don't want it.
The best would be like a joystick that allows for 360 degree movement, but that's more difficult. With a larger D-pad, 4 directions is very playable.
It looks good and is pretty fun. Just difficult to play.
I think I'm going to update the graphics a bit, such that they are really easy to scale around to different resolutions to work on older zunes and newer phones.
This is a great example of a simple game with enjoyable, "just one more", gameplay. At first I thought the download failed, seeing as it is only 16k. Great things come in small packages, right? I really like the dynamic d-pad. It takes some getting used to, but it's pretty clever and works fine. Have you tried implementing a tilt based movement? My thumb seems to get in the way. Reminds me of Osmos. Anyway, this is awesome.
