Is there any chance someone could make a firefox mobile build for the ZHD? the ZHD's stock browser is just awful, and the sourcecode for firefox mobile is freely available.

I agree... Liberate is cool, but it takes sooo long to boot up and shut down, and with all the problems of wifi attached... not fun. Would it be possible to sort of, for lack of better word, "teather" an app to liberate? Like, have the app run within Liberate without actually running Liberate? Or have the app use Liberate's system to just run the browser as an app?

why bother? OpenZDK allows for c and c++ code to be executed natively, and since firefox is written in c++, and is completely opensource, it might even be easier to port it then to make a bunch of crazy liberate-based workarounds.
here is a link to the firefox source ftp for the mobile browser: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/source/

If I'm not mistaken, using openzdk apps disable wifi (as well as official apps and drm protected content)... That's why it's recommened that you restart after running it..

oh. I thought that was only liberate that broke wifi. if that is the case, nvm.
Really? My zune HD begs to differ. After playing openzdk apps (like gameboy emulator) I can't access wifi. It asks me to put in the security password and always says it's incorrect.

Yes, Some OpenZDK apps even use wifi. You probably either have something wrong with your Zune, or you are doing something wrong.
