it's hard to believe, but I highly doubt it's real...even if that one guy won 30,000 dollars for developing drivers for the mac.then if i remember right, microsoft made an official SDK for Kinect

There is nothing in the video that makes it look fake, and as Nick already pointed out, the developer released the source code.

Wouldn't this actually be more of Steve Ballmer's nightmare, because of PS3 being able to do something XBOX boasts about without even being programmed to, just by using a source code?

The PS3 has to be modified, if your PS3 is up to date there currently is no way to unsigned code.

Like how they put two together to make a 3D camera. We could make amazingly better things. Yet, we don't. Sounds a lot like how humans are.

That technology has been around for a while, though not at prices that consumers could afford.
