Exclamation gears of war zune 120 help

so my GOW zune 120 broke 2 weeks ago. first i re-formatted the zune because songs were skipping. then i had only a few gigs left when there was nothing on there. so i re-formatted the zune again and then i wasnt able to update because there wasnt any space left. now i have the contact 5 support.

my warranty has expired and im trying to find ways to fix this problem. is rapidrepair actually a good source for help? is it worth changing the hd manually? and does the zune hd have as many problems as the 120? i love zune and zune pass too much to switch over to a worse quality product(ipod).

The ZuneHD will have less problems due to the fact that it is SSD.

I know that HDD players can break fairly easily and i beleive that is the problem you are having. Rapid Repair is a reliable source however it is quite pricey! If you can do it your self, i would try too!

Zune 120 HDD - Ebay

go for it!

SSD = Solid State Drive

HDD = Hard Disk Drive

HDD's have a spinning disk which can break fairly easily whereas SSD's are solid, make no noise, and have no moving parts!

SSD's can be shaken and dropped, and will still likely work!

SSD = overpriced, durable
HDD = affordable, can last long, depending on how you take care of it.

eh, SSD's being overpriced can be arguable.... due to the fact that they ARE compact and durable, imo they should cost more!

but yeh, HDD's being affordable with high capacities makes it a great choose for large storage, but for portable devices, i beleive they will eventually become obsolete.
