Need Help Please Black Screen With Battery Symbol?

Hello all iv had my zune for about 2 months now and well yesterday for the first time after i plugged it in to my x-box 360 it was fully charged after i took it out it showed no batter whatsoever.. so i figured eh must of drained or somethin.. o well right? so i charged it figured it would be fine but! the screen would not turn on at all stayed black no signs of life whatsoever except wait.... on this black screen it shows a battery with a voltage symbol i guess that means it needs to be charged again!? i dont get it? i just charged it for 8+ hours and still nothin! i had it going this morning for like an hour and i was so happy and now i went to use it again and the dreaded black screen with the battery symbol returned! WHAT SHOULD I DO? i dont think i have the warrenty on it so im really scared any help would be VERY greatful.

Well, the common method is to drain it completely. But doing that is a bit of a pain as the only way to do it is to keep clicking and bringing up the screen.

If you don't have a warranty anyways you can open it, disconnect the battery and then reconnect the battery

i would try removing the firmware by pressing the back + middle + play buttons (i think thats the right combination)?

its not responding to anything its just locked up dude i dont get it.

yeh my zune is gone i cant fix it... i dont know what to do.
