Humanity is tied to humanity and not to just a planet. Seriously, I tire of the whole nature first, humanity last argument as it is based on a shallow ideal of self-righteous zeal for something that cares not for whether they live or die. In fact, it attempts to kill them every chance it can get either directly through natural disasters or indirectly through creatures and plant life. Disregarding the fact that nature does more harm and good to itself than the whole of humanity can or has ever done to it.

Roman roads in the Alps were built due to the Roman Empire's use of automobiles and fossil fuels that brought about climate change to warm the planet to melt the snow so that they could be built.

Seriously? Computers are going to totally flip out because they thought they shouldn't be in existence? Don't you think a computer that was smart enough to know that it was made 10 years ago and what a date actually is would be smart enough to handle a 4 digit year number?
