Default Abosolute Hot?

We know there is absolute Zero, but what about Absolute Hot? Do you agree with one of the theories, or have your own or what?

Wow, I never even thought of that. Now I'm curious to know.

It is not a question about who knows what the hottest temperature is, but who cares? Why does it matter? All of these postulations are THEORY. everything is great, IN THEORY. Communism is great, IN THEORY. Where is the mathematical and physical evidence to back this up? People talking about the string theory having their own postulation. I think they need to worry about proving the string theory first. You have to crawl before you can walk. All this scientific babble about what is the hottest possible temperature or what exactly stuff is made of. Why not do something more useful with your time? They spend billions of dollars in research for an answer to an insignificant answer. Is there an end to the universe? Give me a ton of money in grants an i bet you i bring back a pretty answer.

Science time and time again is proven wrong. We can only guess from the things that we know and understand. There are many things that we think we knew but find out we have no clue. This again one of them. Absolute 0 is another one of them. I'm sure there is colder out there, we just dont know about it, we havent witnessed it yet.

I actually wondered this sometime last year, and there should be a maximum amount of energy that something can hold, thus, there should be a maximum temperature.

That just blew my mind. I never thought about it. but I guess if there is a certain temperature that you can't go below it would make since that there should be an opposite. I don't see how they can really give it any number if they have no idea what it is though. I would just say "there is a maximum temperature but there is no way to find that maximum temperature at this time".

even though there is a absolute zero, i do thing there could be an absolute hot but the problem is the matter would turn into engery and then plasma from there, so there is absolute hot in such a case that of which one your referring to like matter, engery, plasma, thats my thoughts correct me if im wrong

i want to say yes.........i guess there is a limit. i mean the hotter something gets the more excited the molecules get and the faster they move......but they cant move any faster than the speed of light bc nothing can (again in theory) so i guess there should be some kind of limit.

Ok, i though about it and have a serious answer. Heat is essentially energy, cold is a lack of energy. So cold equals 0. Energy is infinite. There is an infinite amout of energy in the universe. the only way to top heat out is if all energy in the universe were to change to heat, at the same time, and in the same place. Not easily possible id guess. This makes sense in my head. But my answer is no. there is no absolute hot.....cept Alba.

Right on. It's the maximum amount of potential energy an object has changed into heat energy at the same time.
Ergo, it depends on the object.

No there isn't! there is a finite, constant amount of energy in the universe
