Question Instruments

How many people used to or still play an instrument. Personally I play the trumpet I've played for 9 years and plan to keep with it for the rest of my life. And I mean seriously many people say they are learning guitar and piano, but they never really stick with it .

+ YouTube Video

This is a video of my friend's little brother playing guitar he has stuck with it and is a prime example of how to stick with it .

Played the trombone from 1993 up to 2000. Now I have no desire to pick it up again but still know how to read notes and play it obviously but my lip posture is probably not that great. I would have to practice to get good at it again.

I've played guitar for almost a whole year, and I'm glad that my parents randomly bought me a guitar one day.

Keyboards: 20 years.

There used to be a time when keyboards were a primary instrument in a band. Now it's all guitar.

Restarted drumming about 3 years ago after a 10 year hiatus. Own a very expanded Roland TD-12 kit configured in the likeness of the SS. Professor (Neil Peart's kit).

VDrumr, if you're influenced by Neal Peart, you might have an interest in some of the stuff I've written over the years. The drummer I used to play with studied Peart's techniques closely. Needless to say, odd time signatures were not a stumbling block for us.

I'd have played the piano in the past but now stick to the triangle and only play on very special occasions.
