Hi, this is my first program using xna. Im aiming for a app similar to Notepad for windows.Still a good lengths from finished but I wanted to see what you guys think thus far.

The controls are;
Up and Down to scroll through the letter wheel. Holding either for a second will allow it to scroll faster.
Left and right to move the cursor.
Squircle Button to enter text.
Back to Backspace(Hold to Exit).
Play toggles Caps.
Hold Play and Press Back to Toggle Insert.

I still need to add a character to the reel for enter, make save and load functions, and work on the menu(which is as of right now unaccessible), but i just wanted some suggestions for things that should be in this. Thanks =D

Its a notepad. Like notepad/wordpad for windows. So yes its a way to type lol.

Alright. I'd recommend releasing the game on a different site than Megaupload. It takes over a minute to download. CodePlex is one choice. I'd also suggest releasing the source with a license, so it can be moved to the main applications section.

Do you select letters by scrolling up and down, like you do to enter WEP and WPA codes?

I'm more than likely gonna release the source once I'm done working on it. Ill definitely look into an alternate download such as codeplex. And you got the idea right, its just like wep/wpa style controls only with the option of inserting a new character instead of only replacing so you can go back and fill in a missed letter without having to erase everything and retype it all.

Hey sorry for the double post. I just noticed there's been a decent amount of downloads and I wanted to know what people think. If you don't like it feel free to say so, let me know whats wrong with the layout etc, what could use improvement. I'm really interested in hearing peoples input. Thank you everyone who downloaded it ^_^ I appreciate the support!

Double posts don't matter (at least for me) if they're over 24 hours apart. Yours were weeks apart, so it's fine.

There also have likely been many more downloads (not necessarily installing this program, though) from my games package. Unfortunately, I don't think I can keep track of those.
