I was starting to get tired of the constant questions about ZuneHero Revamped and how to downgrade XNA in order to install it, so I decided to take action on my own and bring ZuneHero into the year 2009.
This .ccgame file, unlike the original ZuneHero Revamped, can be installed directly through the final version of XNA Game Studio 3.0. No downgrading. No uninstalling. No hassle.
This port took an incredible amount of work to put together, including the development of custom tools for converting various content files to the new formats needed by the new XNA. Most, if not all, of the bugs present in the original version are still present; if it crashes randomly on you, it's probably LedZepp's fault. However, it does handle Unicode characters properly now, so stuff like J-pop and Sigur Ròs won't crash the game anymore.
Hmmm...I'm having a problem. Every time I try to play the game (which has been about 10 times now), about half way through the little flashy lights part of the game startup, my Zune restarts. Anyone else having this problem?

If you have a small number of albums, that might be the problem. This game doesn't handle corner cases properly and dies if it can't fill a full menu screen of albums.

That's not near the problem I have 1153 albums. And Just one more thing that might help, is that it DID work when I had it on this same Zune on the XNA Beta version. I don't know why it wouldn't work though. And if I didn't make myself clear enough, THIS is the screen it restarts on:
Great job on upgrading this game. It's pretty fun and i know you didn't make it, but does anyone else notice how glitchy this game is? Sometimes on song select you click on an album and it automatically chooses a song for you. And some dots come down faster than others so if like a yellow and a green come down side by side, sometimes by the time they get there, now the green is before the yellow!?! And to the creator of this game, i think you should implement a health bar... so if you are doing really bad, you can die and go back to the menu instead of having to restart your zune or wait the song out. But still good job on upgrading it, its still fun, just could use some work. +rep for upgrading

I love you. I've been waiting forever for this game to be ported to 3.0 final. This is one of my favorite zune games. +rep for you my friend.
