You aren't supposed to be able to build more than one. I'm guessing that namakemono forgot to save and load the bool or whatever it is that limits the building of the towers

Cool game. Just a few recommendations. 1st, I'm kinda overall confused with the stats of the towers. The stats are all jumbled together and i can hardly understand which is which. 2nd, maybe make movement of the cursor continuous if you hold it down. Its a game in itself trying to move it around to where you want. 3rd, a graphics update. Self-explanatory. Maybe different looking bullets for each tower. Rail gun tower, bullet, cannon tower, ball, ect. And 4th, naming of the towers. The setup is nice, but the names should be a little more explanatory of what they do. Rail gun, cannon, antiair, ultimate and paralysing are good, but what about spike and artillery? What do they do? Last but not least, the stats. Theyr kindof confusing. And once you upgrade a tower there are three rows of stats. Hmm.

Anyway, great game! If you take my suggestions seriously i see some improvement coming.

I did forget to have the tower bool save...but I'm not entirely sure I want to do another update to this until there's a new XNA release. As for graphics, I have no will whatsoever to make my own (see the screen shots for my artistic skills) the ones currently used were made by a friend of mine. f you would like updates gfx feel free to submit your own and ill include those.

As for any other updates. They will have to wait till I feel well enough to code again, end of the school year blues, stuff I posted earlier etc :/

To be honest I haven't opened VS for a few months now. Life sorta sucks in college lol.

I really don't want to work on it unless I add some huge new feature or it breaks.... Any ideas?

Levels is something I can't do, nor art. Personally I don't see anything wrong with the stat screen either....

Sure the hover over stats is a bit confusing but i tried to make it intuitive (tower you are carrying, tower you are over, the next level stats of the tower you are over if you happen to upgrade)

They did get squished a bit when sir justin made the stats so large but I cant really help that.

Idk if any one has done this but i found a glitch so i can play til whatever level i want (i assume)
so around level 47 you save your game then quit
then continue game it will start cycling through like you started over, only you get to start with over powered stuff
enjoy

One thing to mention about upgrading. When you upgrade for the same price as the tower itself, it should do more damage than double the tower. Otherwise, its not worth upgrading. Your better off building thousands of one non uped tower.

Hello all, I am back. School has been a great pain so I had to leave for a little. You asked the question of adding more levels but I ask has anyone even ever made it to the end? If there are people that can and are making it to the end I wouldn't mind adding more levels as long as Nam would update his software again. Also, as for the names and stats for the towers, they can get confusing in the bottom screen which is why Nam made the switch tower button. He planned to include a description of the tower and its stats each level I believe, not sure if he actually did it but I think I have the most updated version.

I've made it too the end multiple times with 20 lives still left also are you able to make it so you can put more then one ultimate tower on if you make more lvls cuz i think that after probably lvl 50 you would need a higher power tower then just cannons

I think you guys miss the point that this is a free game, were not going to invest a lot of time in petty things like graphics...

I hope this is close enough to 24 hours, But I plan on rewriting this from the ground up soon using new techniques that I've learned over the last couple months that should speed it up and add stability. Just giving a shout out notice.

Yeah, like Nam said...we don't do graphics. If anyone is willing to submit any better ones to him I am sure he is more than willing to switch them out. I will tell you what also. I would be willing to do this if we were able to get a graphics update, but only if:
Add more levels
Add more towers/ tower levels
Add a cleaner tower description and viewing area
And anything else I am capable of...Nam does most of the main programming though

Just wanted you guys to know I'm on vacation and officially working on a version 2.0.
Expect it to look completely different and hopefully be more stable as I rewrite it from teh ground up.

The visual style will be very unique for a zune game but i hope people like it as Ive always wanted to make a game with the style.

I bought a $200 netbook and this thing is awesome. Even runs world of warcraft decently.

Catch you guys later. ("Borrowing" wi-fi from a motel6 about 100 miles from home in a campground).
