Read the other posts. It's pretty bad. The lag also varies based on the codec that your music is compressed with (e.g. lossless files lag down pretty much any game that supports music).

If you have XNA 3.0 Beta (in my sig), then you just hit 'open', and then 'unpack'

sorry, but my comp keeps rejecting the .ccgame file with the message:
Error 2160: The packaged game requires a runtime that is not recognized by this version of XnaPack. A newer version of XnaPack may be required to unpack this game, or the package may be invalid.
I got the latest XNA version, so idk why this error is coming up...

dude, read the post right above yours... ^
now, for what i came here to post,
this game is awesome...
the timing is a little wierd at times, and expert mode is impossible for me on my 30gb,
but then again, i suck at guitar hero on all platforms.
nonetheless, a great game.
---
i got to playing this just after my above post...
ive noticed that not all of my songs are in the menu, on some of them when i pick an artist or album, it just plays one of the songs... without giving me an option to play the rest.
i was just wondering if this happens with everyone, or if its just mine, because there are some songs that dont show up that i really wanna play.

That's what you need to do. It works, honestly. Uninstall the final, install the beta.

k, time for a quick tutorial.
First, uninstall XNA 3.0 Final
Go to Start > Run, enter appwiz.cpl and click OK. Uninstall XNA Game Studio, the XNA Game Studio Platform Tools, the XNA Framework Redistributable, and Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE Redistributable (preferably in that order).
Second, install XNA 3.0 Beta
Get it here: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/347522/Zu...3.0%20Beta.exe
Lastly, open up and unpack ZuneHero
You all know how to do this already, if you're getting Error 2160
After this, uninstall XNA 3.0 Beta and re-install XNA 3.0 Final to get the newest games. ZuneHero will stay on your zune.

Thanks man, this works! + rep!!!
---
I can't install the 3.0 until the beta is gone, it won't let me uninstall even though I got rid of all the other files you listed...
EDIT: NM, I got it.

It's only compatible with XNA 3.0 Beta. I've explained that multiple times.

Jeeze people, read the posts!
too lazy to read the last page before you post the reply, which can fix your problem entirely instead of making you look like a blind fool?
I'm getting tired of this, anyone thats ever been on a forum should know this...
But yeah, i dont like the middle button controls on any game like this, its too hard not to hit left or right, and almost impossible to remember where the middle was when looking at a fast moving screen. I guess this is more of my fault, so I'm not complaining about the game, but of my Z008!/V355 (zoobiness)

You might want to add that you do not need to restart your PC after uninstallation.
