[ALPHA] Running Man

Game Name: Running Man
Creator: Dirk Nordhusen (DiNo Games)
Version: 0.2
Description / Instructions / Anything you want to say: This game is in Alpha stage which means that gameplay and content will change through further development.
The main goal is to run as far as you can before you lose your 3 lifes.
You can duck, run, walk and jump to avoid incoming enemys and obstacles... or shoot them.

Controls:
Left : Walk
Up: Jump
Right: Run faster
Down: duck (and stop moving)
Center button: Shoot current weapon
release all buttons: just run

When you are hit by anything you lose a life. After losing a life you are invulnerable for a short time. This is indicated by a transparent character.

SCORE is only given for the distance you covered. Later on you will get extra points for shooting things like enemys, gun stations, bosses etc.

While in the air you can still adjust speed to avoid obstacles

Download Running Man (RIG):

RIG allows you to deploy without using Visual C# and XNA. You must already have deployed a game to your Zune in order to use RIG.
The installer works for 64Bit operation systems, too!

You might want to add a 'How to' that has the controls in it IN the game in the future, thatd be nice, and if were keep using A and B as buttons we need to come to an agreement on what it is. On the bright side, AWESOME Game! Movement is very realistic, are there gun stations and bosses in this version? my highest score is 998 and there havent been any yet. Runs very smooth. The only other thing is on the main menu since its sidways you have to press 'DOWN' to go down, but when the zune is sidways the DOWN button is on the right, kinda wierd not a big deal though, hope that helps!

I will add a highscore (that saves on the Zune) later on... But right now you just have the barrels... there is not much of gameplay in it right now... gameplay will improve a lot I thing... enemys, bosses etc... all this will make another game feeling than this Alpha has...

I know the controls-problem in the menus... its easy to fix but I have to go to bed and I just wanted to give you guys something new to play around with, so it will be fixed in the next upload (tomorrow I guess).

No, there are just the barrels right now. I am still making graphics for other objects and enemys. Just to tease you, there will be missile shooting enemy stations that you can shoot and enemy soldiers that run to you and shoot at you.

But... jesus, I started it yesterday... I need a bit more time to do all this *lol*

Dam, I was just about to say that lol. One thing I would suggest, and this is just my petpeeve is that you change it from saying A to saying Center or play. You dont have to thats just me. Other than that, I cant find anything top complain about, love the explosions lol.

And BTW my high score is 3060
