You could try to use a scanner. Other than a camera though, there is no option to do that, nor any easy way to make one.

a scanner would show the screen in all grey, it cant read color from an lcd screen try it

maybe ypur mortal scanner can't, but the new and improved ultima scanner 3e can.

Take the video out from the Zune and plug it into a video capture card on your PC and capture frames.
