I know that on the zune we have an fm radio. When that recieves a signal it also gets the track and artist information. My question is this, is there a way to save that information in a list, or even more ideally, add it to a sync list so that when you sync your zune the next time, it checks your collection for that particular song based on metadata? I know you can download from the zune marketplace, but i would rather not pay for a song i already own.

i believe that when that information is displayed you can click the center button and hit add to cart if you have the zune pass

yea i know that is there, but i dont have a zune pass because i already have 120gb of music, and i dont really need to be paying for something i already have.

It barely works, you have to be listening to a station that has text information, the kind cars pick up, and sometimes they dont say what song is playing, It searches for the song based on the text they give you.
