Default [SOLVED] Zune 120 EQ
My 30 had a few preset EQ options.. like rock / rap / acoustic but the 120 has nothing.. atleast nothing I can find.. is it possible to burgle the firmware eq and put it in the 120 firm?

nah its not the firmware its the hardware iirc
the hardware in the 2nd gen zunes does not support EQ

It kinda is useless when you get the uber cool Zune 80 headphones free
..which dont come with the Zune 120...
i guess Zune 120 owners got a good price but not as good package as the 80..

1: Battery life considerations
2: Cost cutting
3: Not necessary(instead, they focused on making the Zune sound better un-equalized)

Anyway, this is...impossible to add since there is no hardware on the zune to support this. You can Amazon search for external EQ's, but they are rather lackluster at any size considered "portable."

which is why I purchased Phonak Audeo perfect fit's...

these IEM really rock, incredible mids, just the right bass, awsome soundstage, great clarity..

Who would have thought 1950's doowop and rockabilly could sound so good.

Very nice... as far as the people that say it's unneeded.. I disagree.. I listen to a wide range of music and a EQ profile can really change what you are listening to.

The 120 does come with headphones which are VERY nice.. nicer than the ones that came with my limited Edition red 30.

As far as the car system goes.. Lucille you have me beat.. I have decided what I am putting in. I think you have a lot more money than I do.

I will be posting on what I am installing once I have finalized it.
