The Zune is capable of displaying other types of images (.bmp), (.jpeg) because some of the album art I have is .jpeg and .bmp. I'm sure it can also support some other types. There should be a relatively simple way to do this, but I don't know how.

At the gym, on some tredmills and bikes and stuff like that, you can plug your ipod into the machine. It would be good if somebody can make a hack that you can use that with a Zune.
Hard Drive Hack
It would be good if somebody developed a hack that allows you to display files on a Zune and add files to the hard drive. There are a few out there for older firmwares, so you may be able to just modify a previous one instead of starting from scratch.

iZune. Plug it in to do what?
HHD Hack. Firmware is shut tight. No can do.
Don't be an ass, most people don't understand the limits of the zune and it isn't your place to correct them like they are dirt, don't let it happen again
His iZune idea is a dock adapter, which is difficult but has been made read about it

GameStudio/ZuneVirus/ZuneApps has been here for a while he should know the limitations of the device.
I like the second idea, if I were to actually exercise it'd be a neat idea.

Image Support: It's more complex than you realize.
Zune Dock: If you have good materials to make a form-fitted dock, making this is simple. You just make something that fits the bottom and then run a sync cable through to a power source. Some plexiglass oughta do this one just fine. You'd probably want to make it so that it lies back a bit, giving easy access to the buttons. Need some hardware skills, but simple enough in the end.
HD Hack: No. No. No. Long dead, not going to happen until MS lets it. They aren't going to let it. Same goes for the custom firmware.

Also, I have sort of an idea for Zune internet. I'm guessing that when you open Zune marketplace, you connect to one of Microsoft's servers. Maybe you can do something like that with the internet (except connect to any server) by changing registries or something.

Yes, the Zune does connect to the Marketplace, but there are proprietary handshakes that must be passed before any data is transferred, and these are as secure as the the digital signatures protecting the firmware. We can't just "change the registry" to get around that. Basically, you can only make a connection through the approved methods to the approved places. MS controls it. We can't get around it, we just have to live with it.

Somewhere, I forget where, I read that a future firmware will allow people to watch tv on their Zunes the same way they would listen to radios. Has anybody heard anything about this?
