i tried the manual way of editing the registry editor, but no success and id like to use it as an external. just a shoutout

good news, i just went into my computer and noticed that my zune was there so i guess one of the patches worked!
heres the two patches i tried, see if they work for you
ZuneHDPatch.zip
Zune_HDD_Patcher.rar
i havn't actually tried adding anything yet so im not sure if u need zune open or not.

Even if this worked for you, other people, please don't try it. It could make it so that you have to wipe your Zune and maybe even the software for it to work.

I have built a working hard drive patch for version 3 that allows you to see your Zune and its contents in windows explorer, but you cant write to, or copy from the device.
Also the device disappears from windows explorer while the zune software is running.


But, at least its a start.

It should work on XP 32 and 64, don't know about vista though.
I am Waiting on putting this in the hacks section because I am still working on the zAuto Unlocker for 3.0.
But at this point it looks like people will have to uninstall the 3.0 software and install the 2.5 if they want to be able to unlock the drive, but that may not even work with the 3.0 firmware in the device, I still have allot of testing to do.
