Exclamation zAlternator for Zune 2.5

PITY... any update or possibility of an update to zSuite2 or the zAlternator hack to support Zune 2.5 software (on the device)?

Signed - Frustrated w/ requirement to use Zune Desktop software...

Default How? Where?

Netrix -- you say it does support it, with a link over the zsuite v2 post with all the back and forth... griping about the OCX issue (that I figured out and self-resolved) or where to download (that I also figured out).

I have zAlternator as part of zSuitev2 installed, it says it is for devices with firmware 2.0 to 2.3. My device has 2.5 installed thanks to the person who gave it to me ... and the zAlternator just doesn't switch over on the 2.5 firmware for the device (according to the various instructions).

If you know the link to newer software version of zSuite that supports firmware 2.5, please advise? I'm not a helpless enduser... but the zune board / dark zune postings seem very circular.

Thanks!

I have firmware 2.5 and the zExplorer part of zSuite (the HD hack) works for me. I have not had any reason to use the zAlternator, so I do not know if that part of it works.

Therefore, zSuite does support firmware 2.5, just possibly not fully.

Even the original beta release of zAlternator still supported firmware 2.5, even though it only said 2.0-2.3. Now the question is, does it support 3.0?

My educated guess would be no.

Yeah, you're right

Oh well, we had a good run. I really hope there's another way to sync with MediaMonkey...
