Hey guys, I've got a powerful need to be able to beam junk from my zune to my phone via bluetooth. I've got a T-mobile Wing with Windows Mobile and the 2nd gen 80gig Zune. From what I've read on the normal support site is that it's not possible. Can anyone help?

The Zune does not have a Bluetooth adaptor. It's like trying to connect your TV remote to bluetooth, without the hardware, you can't do it

There's gotta be a way that I can beam stuff from my zune to my phone though. Bluetooth aside, there is some type of transmitter in the zune that allows for device to device communication. It's likely be the radio transmitter that is used to the Zune Radio. I really don't care how the zune fires, as long as I can get it to fire to my phone.
Please Help! I'm a desperate newbie! Last edited by paladyn1 : 07-29-2008 at 01:47 PM. Reason: I forgot to be nice. |

I'm still researching this and I found a site that covers the T-Mobile wing's capabilities. I'm still pretty sure you can still do it, as the Wing has beaming options that are not part of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It has IR capabilities as well, but overall, things are looking grim for this idea.
mobiletechreview.com/phones/T-Mobile-Wing.htm Thank you so much for the help though, I really appreciate this even if it's not possible. |

Its not possible unless you take apart the zune, somehow manage to install a bluetooth reciever and hack the zune firmware.
Note: The last 2 are impossible, at least the last one is, not sure about the 2nd one. The zune can only communicate with other zunes and your computer
