Hi,
I love the convenience and portability of retractable earbuds. However, I can't bring myself to buy a pair because of their subpar audio quality. I was wondering if it was possible to make some retactable IEM's out of some retractable headphones and a pair of IEM speakers. Any help is appreciated. Alec IS it possible to solder together the earbuds of one set of headphones to the wire of another?

Not to mention you'd still be using the wiring for the crappy phones, which will downgrade the quality.
