Change Zune Resolution

I think it would be great to have a higher resolution on the Zune. Does anyone know any hacks, or maybe you might be able to make it yourself. Please post.

I will take on this challenge myself.

This is impossible.
You'd have to get a new screen for the Zune itself.
I believe it would have to be bigger as well, but I'm not sure on that one.

i don't think it would have to be bigger but it would have to be another screen with higher rez like you said

It wouldn't have to be physically bigger, just better, with a better DPI. Unless that would make it thicker; I'm not quite sure if that affects it or not. In theory though, it's possible. Useful? Don't know about that. It's already got a pretty nice screen. Also, could the software deal with the new pixel count? It's probably pretty attached to whatever resolution it has, seeing as how Microsoft didn't probably expect/want people to crack open the case for stuff like this.

i think i read somewhere that the zune supports a wide rang of different rezes, so if you really wanted to i'm sure you could figure it out... but it really isn't worth it like you said the screen is already pretty nice
