It has processor strong enough to run Linux, so why should it have a problem running a browser?

There is one limitation that I see getting in the way, though. I don't think that developers would be able to connect the Zune to an access point as the wireless fidelity is meant to be used to connect to other Zunes, not the internet.

I am not sure, though.

Dang, that's a good one... I'm going to put that in my signature.

Zune has a 600mhz xscale cpu I think. The cpu is much more powerful than most PDAs or phones out in the market.

The reason why nobody got the wifi working are because:
1) Limited input buttons ( i don't see that as a problem though)
2) locked down firmware which means you'll have to use linux or something else
3) Nobody wants to do the hardwork
4) wifi range is only about 10M/ 30feet

I had a theory, However,

Since we can wireless sync, glitch it via the games to think its connecting to a router or something, and really it is, however, have a software to let it browse the net, that is completely rediculas and will never work, however =[.

Web browsing on a zune is pointless, the screen isnt big nuff.

The limit on buttons makes me wonder why anyone would want internet on their Zune.

I thought about that, but then I realized that the screen isn't that big. There isn't a lot of room to have all of that going on.

The ONLY thing that would be useful to code in this category would be an RSS reader. That way all you have to do is connect > Choose the RSS you want to view and then you can scroll down though it.

I would code it but I just learned Basic and Java this year. So im kinda hopeless in the coding category.

i dont know anything about being able to put the internet on the zune or not. but ppl keep saying that the screen is to small so it would be pointless. it is NOT to small! the iphone screen isnt that much bigger, nor is the psp screen not that much bigger. and ppl said that a virtual keyboard wouldnt fit on the screen with everything else. yes it can! the psp brings up a separate screen on top of the browser for the virtual keyboard. it can work! now, i just dont know about the actual internet on it, lol
