Default Edit Files on Zune

Is there any possible way to edit files on the zune just like there was a way to edit files on the ipod.

yes i've used the explorer hack, and was useless for me, but im talking like adding playlists just like allowed to in itunes on the zune and use the songs on the zune to make the playlist. because all of my songs are on my zune, not on my computer and it would be a real pain in the ass to have to copy songs back to my computer to make a new playlist.

i've also tried zalternator and it will not let me use zune with itunes

Sorry, but you can't make playlists on zune, you would have to copy them back to your collection to do so

not to counter your suggestion, Scrapz... but uhm.. Jack showed me a trick with playlist creation in the video folder, I was wondering if the same thing is possible in the music folder, highlight certain songs or folders and right click, then click create playlist... it should at least work within the same album or something, if nothing else it might be an angle to work from in order to find a new way to do things?

You do this with the HDhack?
Does it really work with videos? if so, then it should surely work with music

Try it, tell me what you think. PM me if you want to do that instead of filling up the thread, or post it here and let everyone see your results, the thing I'd note is that you have to have the sync mode engaged on your zune for it to work.

Connect it to the computer, open up the zune software, sync a long video, open task manager(ctrl+alt+Delete), end process zune.exe, and you zune will be in syncing mode
Make sure that when you end zune.exe, the zune says "Syncing"
