[SOLVED] zOrganize - Alternative Solution for Zune Woes

I'm interested in codeing a program for the zune that takes advantages of zMeta , zAlternator. & the hdd hack. What I want the final to be is to have some registry hack or something unlock the zune automatically than changes the service type a la zAlternator style and can organize it without having to sync and resync. It's theoretically possible right? I haven't coded in years though so it'll be a while, but what do you guys think? Mostly it's just messing with meta data while the zune is unlocked. Could you even do that right now with zMeta and just unlocking it and using the hard drive hack, I haven't tried?

Only prob is that we dont know how to unlock the HDD yet i was chatting with some one from the H&M crew about USB packet capture but that thread is lost somewhere now caus some one went through and blanket replied to each thread in the hacks and mods section.

But if we ever find out how to then it would open up the way to alternate software for the zune.
The HDD hack doesnt open ther HDD for writing as far as im aware it jsut allows it to be seen by the OS so we can look at whats in it. you still have to open up the zune software and sync something the kill its process to keep it unlocked for writing, if there was a command line command that could be used to sync something to the zune you could use a batch script to do the process

and i mean a command line command like Zune.exe -f <filename> sync
but i dont think those exist.

At this point, there in no way to unlock the Zune outside of the software. Once this can be done, I am sure it will.
