I have various RSS torrents set up, which automatically download the torrent of a TV Show when it is released. It's possible to set a command to be run once the download is finished.
I wondered if it would be possible to automate the conversion and synchronization from the computer to the zune in any way. I know how it would be done (batch file that runs a commandline converter, followed by some sort of command line zune sync) but I don't know how to do it. Any thoughts? Gausie |

that would be very nice to implement. i think first the zune software would have to convert avi files natively, maybe it does, but last time i tried it gave me an error, even with that hack. unfortunately not all torrents, actually none that i've seen, come in .wmv format.

Its a good idea but it cant really bt implemented because it requires other software to be opened for the conversion.
If however the zune software supports .avi in the future it can easily be done without any coding at all because the tv shows will be downloaded into a folder and you can just simply tell the zune software to "watch" the folder and have your sync settings set to automatic.

If you use a program called videora you can do exactly that. I haven't used it myself, but my friend has said that its great.
The downside is that it locks you into using bitcomet (I think) which I've always hated. |
