Hi,
Noob question, but its my 1st post so I AM a Noob ![]() was reading the old threads regarding the guest synch hack but the main 1 is closed and all of the download links are broken. is this because with the latest firmware its not an issue? here is my situation..... I got the zune (80 gig) , synched about 40 gigs of Mp3 then a day later my pc crashed and I lost all my music on my hard drive. I built a new pc and I wanna synch all my music from my zune over to my new PC. Of course I dont want to lose 40 gigs of MP3 so i want to make sure its not going to erase anything off of my Zune. Unfortunately I didnt get a chance to work with the software hardly at all and so I dont know really how restrictive it is. By reading the forum posts I cant really tell because I dont know how much of it was written before the current firmware upgrade. Can somebody please advise me on if Im safe to use the current firmware with no hacks or do I need to find a copy of the "Guest hack" someplace and get it installed? I really appreciate the help.....thanks, |

When you first plug in your zune there will be a Guest option.

So you might be safe since its going to be the first time you plug in your Zune to your new computer that it wont erase your music because you can log on as a guest.Always click on forget this device in the settings so it will stay as guest..
