I drive a scion tC and would LOVE to connect my zune to the indash iPod connector to use my steering wheel controls while driving. Haveing the zune plugged into AUX is nice and all but i hate having to play with the zune while driving. Plus with the iPod it would display song info on my stereo's screen. A connector like this is something i have been searching for but can never find.

I believe Sundgate Kicker is working on a cable now that would make it possible to attach our Zunes to the stock or aftermarket vehicle head units through AUX input jacks, or Ipod Jacks, allowing the Zune user to control the Zune from the head units (or the remote steering wheel or hand held) and being able to see all the Zune info, album art Jpegs , Song title , artist etc. on the head unit. So you could plug in the Zune drop it in the glove box and have a touch screen double din 7" readout screen and hear it all through your vehicles sound system . (Still cant believe only Ipod makes this possible, If I was Microsoft I would be embarrassed.

Default 3.3V power out from ipod dock

does any know what is the power output from the 3.3V output pin from the ipod dock, pin 18 ( pin 13 ) ?

i've tried to connect a resistor to the pin 18 ( pin 13 ) and measure its current. but i was not able to get a reading.

Default Would this work?????

My 08 rabbit has an Ipod dock in it, yet I have a Zune, so I too am banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out.

Would connecting the belkin dock to ipod shuffle adaptor work? Connect it to the ipod dock then connecting the zune to the usb. Would that work, or would it be incompatible.

I tried pasting the link, but it's my first post so it doesn't work. Google it.

Let me know what you guys think.
