[SOLVED] BEST HACK idea for 30 GB Zune ******

you know that in the 30 gb Zune you have to click to navigate threw songs well the hack that i think that is a great idea is to make the 30 gb Zune like the 80 gb Zune where you can scroll threw the playlist.Do you think thats possible?

That would be more of a hardware mod than a software mod... and as of now, it's basically impossible for us.

Well it would be great if a hack could turn a click wheel into a scroll wheel, but we aren't there yet, so too bad.

There would be no way of doing it. You would have to buy a whole new wheel that would support touch sensitivity (like the squircle) then you would have to mod your 30gb zune case to make it fit, then you will realize that there are more connectors on the pad than the 30gb zune can take.
In other words, there is no way to do it. Just buy a new zune.

i think the mod would cost more than the 80gig zune, and it would be extremely complicated. You might as well buy the 80gig zune.

This would be a great idea, but I think its more trouble than its worth...if you want the scroll wheel of the new Zunes then you may just want to go out and buy one...

im sick of having to click my zune buttons all of the time on my 30 gig... i wish i would have known that the 80 gig suported the touch wheel feature BEFORE i bought the 30. in my opinion, the 80 is woth the extra 50 or so dollars!

i may have understood something wrong but cant you just hold down the button to scroll faster?
