I don't believe the Zune supports GIF images, so no? The FW hasn't been hacked yet to enable support for it either.

The best you could do would be to convert it into a movie file.

I am concepting some applications right now. animated gifs would be great to do a quick fash to gif mocup. (ok, real flash, even lite would be perfect, but... yeah)

video unfortunately always does the timeline overlay as soon as you press pause/play, which destroys the intention.
