using .avi files with new software?

there was the mod that tricked the software to convert avi files to one compable with the zune. Is this possable to do with the new software?

your going to have to convert it using external software. The best (free) software i've found is media coder.

I actually prefer Cucusoft Zune Converter Suite

Not all too free, but it is when you look in the right places.

lol. SUPER is better.. so many file types. n its free 100%. is a big program, but easy 2 use aftr a few days lol. supports a lot of file types lie avi mp4 mp3 wmv flv m4v etc.

actually i find that fmpeg works good to but i think it is a little more difficult for anyone i ahad a hard time using it and i think it dose better quality and it iis faster

WinAvi converter works really well too. Converts anything to anything...literally. But it isnt free.

I have to disagree, go to Download.com and under Video Software scroll down and click on MediaCell Video Coverter and the thing is NO LIMITATIONS

- Its free
- its good
- Its no limitations
- Its MediaCell

I have found that the best video converting software is SUPER by erightsoft. It will convert any format to any format, and you don't have to pay at all for it. There's no free trials, watermarks, etc. It's all free. You can select preset specifications for the Zune format too. You can download it at erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
