Default Volume

Would it be possible to hack the zune to increase the max volume and have more options like bass control, or is that something that has to be done to the file beforehand? Most of my movies and some of my songs are quiet on 20 so any ideas would be great. Thanks!

P.S. Sorry about not using the layout for sugestions, I saw it right after I made the thread. haha this is the funniest smilie I have ever seen.

Short of a hard mod, I would suggest either finding an in-line amplifier or taking a look at your current headphones, those tend to weaken the sound.

I mean, you could probably do a hard mod that does it, but it would be sort of a waste of time if there are accesories that will do it pretty cheap.

why not download those songs and amplify them using software?

Personally, I would like a custom eq option as well. I use Sony mdr-600 headphones and I can barely pick up bass..they should stop being so PC with the volume and unlock it..
