I was just wondering what people think of the 2012 prediction and how it will be the end of the world. I am a little sketchy on this but I think 2012 will be the end of the world as we know it. I think the Iluminati will unveil their plan and we will all be under strict control. I do not think 2012 is when the world will be engulfed in flame from the sun or anything of that sort.
Please leave comments on what you think will happen.

being able to predict something doesn't necessarily mean you can stop it, somethings are just inevitable. the movies is going to be EPIC and i do believe that the Illuminati will reveal their plan ..maybe they are the ones who proposed this "controlling the internet" thing mentioned in another thread.

The thing is it will be Obama's third year in presidency in 2012. The bible also mentions the mark of the beast and 666. Coincidently the guard bars on barcaodes are all labeled 66 and six from left to right. The bible also mentions the mark of the beast being implanted in the right hand or forehead. The Verichip can only be implanted in the right hand or forehead. Also the Verichip will carry an electronic barcode branding us all with the 3 guard bars of 666. Another interesting fact is that the man who invented the UPC or barcode had 6 letters each in his first, middle and last name. All of this may be trivial but it must be linked in one way or another.
Nostradamus predicted it? The same guy who |Correctly| predicted the end of the world in 2000. He was so generic, we made up the empty spots. If I said that in 3029, that a cat will chew it's paw off then get seen and run off and bump into a wall, that could be interpreted as a prediction, then those in centuries next will forever remember my name! The bible also says the end will come when it is least expected. (If you're going with the bible.) Heck, if interpreted correctly, the Odyssey could reflect the rise of Amreica and tell the story of WWIII.

Meinkampf is the correct spelling which translate into "My Struggle". It was his struggle through prison and being convicted. Also the Holocaust began around 1942. It is not that long from 1930-1942. You guys are also off topic. I did not ask to be ridiculed, I simply asked for comments on to what you think will happen. I don't believe in it, but if it ends in 2012, it'll end, but at this point, I'm thinking it's just something people people are hyping up, just like Y2K. That's all. Serious discussion about 2012? That is pretty hard, considering it is all one big joke.
All of the doomsday theories are bogus and have no scientific proof. The planets were closest to being aligned in the 90s, so that bogus. A geomagnetic reversal takes thousands of years to happen, so that is irrelevant for 2012.
The talk about Obama is just a cheap attempt at generating fear and hatred directed towards him. In that regard, it is along the lines of "OMG! Obama = Socialism".
Techy Dude, connecting Obama to a conspiracy with the Illuminati and the Bibleis asking to be ridiculed. At least when people were saying that sort of thing about Bush, he was actually behaving extremely suspicious and doing several things that were against the Constitution. Obama is trying to fix the damage that Bush did, so he must be a part of some conspiracy to control the U.S.?

I think you have it in for me. What spam? All I did was respond to Broiled Victory about what he though were smart a** comments. I see no reason for this being spam. It was what I thought was an unfriednly response to my post, however, someone else didn't.

Not only is that not really possible for him to "take over the Internet", people are being extremely misleading by claiming such. I suppose that should be expected of most Obama opponents. He already has the power to do what is necessary to protect the U.S. in times of national emergency. All this bill would do is make it clear that he has the authority to do so in regards to private networks so that if he does end up having to temporarily shut down some private networks in case of a severe cyber attack, less people would be outraged and call for his impeachment. Also, requiring IT cybersecurity professionals to be certifed is a great idea. That way, there would be less idiots in charge of keeping data protected. There are a lot of incompetant people out there.
Finally, it is being written by a couple of Senators, not Obama, so I do not see why the fingers are being pointed at him.
It is hard to find any criticism of Obama that is not based on ridiculous expectations, pure opinion, misleading infromation, or outright lies.
