well considering that most catholic bad girls turn to it as a way of rebelling, that is why people think its a joke. I personally find just a "real" as any other religion. At least there's no unicorns in your bible or manuscript. To each is his own if he truly believes and follows it. I just cant stand zombie followers.

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.

What is the afterlife belief in wicca? Wikipedia says that this is not a universally held belief, so I'm curious to see what afterlife you aspire to/believe in.

afterlife we have the intermediate, u stay in the intermediate for 5 years and can choose to be born again and live again and not remember a thing in ur next life, or u can face the judgement of heavan or hell...

the veary saying "the name of the father son and holy spirit" comes from the wiccan book of shadows. The father is father time, making our world succesfully move forward. the son is for man kind being created by god and goddess. Holy spirit being the elements, and as i mentioned, spirit is the element that contains all elements.

im not ashamed to say that im a wiccan. for the most part all my sisters are too. you may all think im bs you when i say that i actually have witches blood in me. A long time ago, there use to be a book handed down from mother to the 1st eldest daughter( we decended from scotland for the most part i think, i have different cultures in me as well and I usually just say im a mutt But the book got lost long ago. one of the spells that my dad remember hearing about(from his mother) but if someone was really sick(nearly deathly ill) you would take some spring water, rose pettles and say a chant and bury it in the side of a hill for some certain amount of days and when you give them the water to drink, the very next day, they were better. sorry that the post is long im new
Zombie followers as in people who follow their religion without even knowing it one hundred percent. You would be amazingly surprised to find out how many Christians don't know even 10% of the bible. Zombie followers would also be in regards to people who follow without questioning their religion. I personally find faith in religion a complete disregard to logic. That doesn't mean I think everyone's an idiot though. If you could thoroughly explain your religion to me and even admit its faults then you would have respect in my book. To me though wiccan gets a bad rap because of its rituals. As previous stated I find all relegion to really go against logic 90% of the time, stated by the girls above replacing scientifically proven treatments with "rituals" just seem flatout stupid..
