various books?
post books you suggest for reading on various religions
first, the obvious: Christian/jew:bible Hindu:Bhagavad Gita Islam:Queran I just started reading God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, and it is pretty good.

Christian: unChristian (Incredibly boring, but hey, reading a Christian book is not for entertainment)
Personally, I'm not a fan of most books written about religion, because I prefer to trust my own personal study and interpretations over that of others. Most of the time, I find a lot of them get it wrong. With unChristian, however, they focus more on "what is the public's perception of Christians, and how can we change them?" And for the most part, I agreed with them. So, I like it.

my only gripe w/ the god delusion is he is too hostile to religion. I see no reason to have a problem with religious people who aren't forcing their views on you, and aren't causing wars.
