Well, around me and my friends, Religion is kind of Taboo... they have some friends who are like "if you can't respect my religion, we can't be friends" because they joke saying "Religion is a cult" or something.

I have a friend who is a tolerant Atheist... He knows all about Catholicism, which is why he decided it was bull... So, he has to hear about it every day from some of his friends, and they're just dicks about it..

I am personally agnostic. I'm not exactly sure what I believe entirely, but I'll figure it out soon enough.

i disagree with the ideas of seperating christian church into seperate "mini-religions" even non-denominational churches are a denomination i believe the church should unite and leave their ideas and traditions behind and base their religion on Christ. Oh and if you disagree with any of this just one request, please be logical and civil. Thank You

what makes you think that they don't believe they are doing just that, basing their religion on Christ? i'm pretty sure if you asked baptists, methodists, presbyterians, catholics, eastern orthodoxers, etc. they would all say their beliefs are rooted in Christ. it just turns out that what they believe about Christ is dependent upon a variety of things, like the Bible, and the beliefs about those things vary from person to person and group to group. hence, their beliefs about Christ are different, and, hence, the religions are different.

Psalm 150

1: Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in the firmament of his power.
2: Praise him for his mighty acts, praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3: Praise him with the sound of the trumpet, praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4: Praise him with the timbrel and dance, praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5: Praise him upon the loud cymbals, praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6: Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

ummm. Deborah was a Judge. I imagine God had no problem with her leading prayer or teaching children. Ruth and Esther, two more great women that lead their nation.

I personally dont have anything against members of CoC but like most denominations they are flawed and twist scripture to suit their own beliefs.

I'm a Christian. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and he came to die for everyone's sins. He is waiting for us, all we need to do is accept him.

I believe in God and think that there is an afterlife in Heaven. I think anyone who thinks they can't be friends because of their religion is just stupid.

Discordian, Catholic, Mormon, Protestant, Kabballah, Wiccan, Chaos, Greco-Roman, Gnosis (Greek), Necro, and Philosophical thought.

I seriously can say I am an amalgamation of beliefs. I don't ask ANYONE to believe in what I do but I ask them to explore and question to come to full realization of their faith structure and what that entails in their life. I also don't like it when others condemn other religions or belief structures as that person may have reached a different conclusion than the person who is judging.

Extremists are the lowest form of life in my book right under amoeba.

Im Catholic Christian, but im not sure if I really believe in god. I dont know if its a phase for me but It seems what people say about evolution and other stuff seems believable more and more everyday. I mean I really Hope that there is life after death. Oh one more thing do you think that if you where born somewhere else in the world like in Africa that you would still believe in the same god or that you will have different opinions about what you currently believe in.
