1. I actually see logic in it as well, but faith is a large part
2. yeah, Christianity is NOT easy. sure, its accepted in parts of the world to call yourself a Christian, but to truly shine like Christ, by not hating, helping everyone, telling people they're wrong for whatever immoralities they have, but still being loving,and... oh yeah... avoiding sin as best we can, is NOT easy.

i am sorry and i dont me to make fun but my Christianity for me is faith not logic and believe me christianity shouldnt be easy you have plenty to lose and again i mean not to offend in any way
I don't see what you have to loose, you don't even have to go to church, you just have to accept that jesus can save you. That's it.
sometimes you can have fun at church, I go with my friend every once in a while. We talk about how Christ can save us then we leave, it takes about an hour and I know most of my friends from church. Also, I know a lot of people who are ex drugies because they started going to church.

As in... they were druggies because of church, or they stopped doing drugs when they went to church?

When you take my quote out of context you can make it sound like anything.
But considering that I was telling people that church can be a good thing. You should automatically think that I meant that something good happens when you go to church. Meaning that those people stopped using drugs after they started going to church. As in... churched saved their life.

I realize that I don't know any of the cases that you are talking about but I would venture to say that it wasn't Church that saved them but Jesus Christ who changed their lives. There is a difference. Typically, just going to church will not change someone but coming to know our savior through church will.
That said... I'm sure there are exceptions to this.

that's pretty much true. They accepted Jesus as their savior, and now they don't use drugs, and they are all around good people.
But I don't think that they could have changed with out the church, if they had only accepted Jesus, things might have turned out differently.
I think that, like AA, church and it's community is the reason that it's so helpful. I don't think that accepting God and Jesus alone can save someone.

I somewhat agree... The Church is important to the growth of our relationship with Christ. The thing that most people don't get, especially "Church" people is that a building is not the Church. It is the body of believers that make up the Church. It's extremely important to stay connected to the body! Walls create division and division has distorted the Gospel. One of the reason's Christianity has such a bad name is because "we" tend to hide behind the 4 walls of "our" church and shun all those who don't believe as we do.

The internet is starting to look like a Highlander movie. In the end, there can be only one company. And that company will have untold power over all the web.
Just a sinner trying (and failing) to do what's right
(But I've got a friend that passed the test & will let me use there Key on the final test)
nice way of putting it.
