I may be wrong (I haven't read any of the holy books) but I haven't heard of any scripture saying that if somebody disagrees with this theology that they should be killed. I find that it is mostly some nut job like Al quieda who uses a religion as a tool in order to manipulate people into believing intolerance as the word of god.

If you can find some where where it says that in the Koran or Bible please post a citation.

Read Exodus and Dueteronomy to start with. I can't think of any specific verse right off the top of my head but examples of this are found in both books.

Here are some example from the Koran...

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

Thanks for that, lost some respect for Mohamed
(If I ever had any).

But I would like to note that most of those say that they will be punished by God, this would require no action from man.

Yes, but there is no doubt in my mind on how easily people can twist the words and interpret them differently. We see this in every religion in the world. When the Bible says "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" what does that mean exactly? You see what I'm saying?

Bottom line... Mohamed was a General and war lord and his teachings reflect that.

It doesn't bother me that you're an atheist. I just hope you're not putting science at a complete opposition to religion and basing your religious beliefs on that misconception. Also, science is not based on proof...it is based on falsifying information that is not the truth. This is the sole reason religion is separate from science. It is not that we cannot prove there is a deity. It is that we cannot disprove there is or is not a deity. But if you feel religion isn't right for you, go with that. If you can be happy without it, go with that. Many people need it to have a sense of purpose, and they may be angry with you because you don't. I don't know...probably got way off topic lol.
